Maggie McDermott graduated magna cum laude from California Western School of Law in San Diego, California. While in law school, Maggie worked for the California Western Community Law Project, a student-led legal clinic that provided legal services in multiple practice areas. Maggie also spent a summer in Santiago de Chile attending law school courses. She was senior editor for the California Western Law Review/International Law Journal and a member of the Pro Bono Honors Society.
Maggie grew up in Louisville, Colorado. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism and Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
